DevOps Workflow Review
Three sessions examining your build practices, deployment cadence, and operational handoffs. The result is a written observation report with recommendations ordered by estimated effort.
Technical consulting · Japan
We work alongside engineering teams in Japan to examine how they ship software, design cloud systems, and integrate open-source components — then produce written findings that are practical to act on.
Engineering teams often accumulate practices — in deployment, in architecture, in dependency selection — that made sense at the time but haven't been revisited since. We look at those practices with fresh eyes, document what we find, and suggest options for how things could change. We don't impose solutions; we hand over a written report and let the team decide.
Our engagements are bounded in scope and time. You know what you're receiving before the work begins, and the output is documentation you keep.
Every engagement ends with a document — observation reports, architectural sketches, integration plans — that belong to your team and can be referenced long after the sessions end.
Engagements run for two to four sessions across one to two weeks. The work has a clear beginning and end, and there are no open-ended retainers unless you request one.
Our services are designed for teams of four to twenty engineers — small enough to stay cohesive, large enough to have real operational concerns worth examining.
Recommendations are ordered by estimated effort and surfaced as choices. The team decides what to act on, in what order, and at what pace.
The output of each engagement is designed to be used without us. We document things thoroughly so your team can move forward on its own terms.
We work specifically with teams operating in Japanese cloud regions. Latency profiles, compliance context, and regional provider characteristics are part of how we frame our recommendations.
We discuss your team's situation, what you're trying to improve, and which engagement fits your current priorities.
Two to four working sessions where we examine current practices, ask questions, and review relevant documentation.
We produce the agreed deliverable — a structured written document with observations and ordered options.
The document is yours. We walk through it together, answer questions, and the engagement closes cleanly.

Service types, each with a clear scope, defined deliverable, and fixed session count — no ambiguity about what you receive.
2 wks
Typical engagement length from initial session to final document delivery. Longer if the team's schedule requires more flexibility.
Data reflects engagements concluded between April 2024 and May 2025.
Each service addresses a specific area of the engineering operation. They can be taken individually or in sequence.
Service 01
Three sessions examining your build practices, deployment cadence, and operational handoffs. The result is a written observation report with recommendations ordered by estimated effort.
Service 02
Four sessions covering requirements, architectural sketching, and a reference document with diagrams and notes on cost and resilience. Suited to teams preparing for a measured rollout.
Service 03
A two-week advisory spanning selection criteria, licensing considerations, and a written integration plan covering maintenance and contribution practices.
Send a message describing where your team is right now. We'll read it carefully and suggest the engagement that seems most useful — or let you know honestly if the timing isn't right.
